Casting off the shackles

Living in a a world where money determines worth,

and status depends much upon your origin of birth.

Driven to become something that's inherently absurd,

by an outdated system of values before written word.

Trying to survive for the generations yet to be born,

so their lives may not depend upon a world war torn.

Able to achieve their dreams without worry or fear,

of someone tearing it down because it doesn't

adhere.

Representing an idea that goes against given beliefs,

by governments which are nothing more than thieves,

Though some deserve a chance to bring about change,

even if ideologies do appear as being a little strange.

Breaking free from long standing concepts of governing,

with an iron fist that often leaves people simply yearning.

As the world unites against ignorance born of hate,

to become a place where future children can contemplate.
